About the Event
What better time to explore comfort foods than the winter? In this Nourishing Comfort Foods mini-series, we're going to take a veggie-centric approach to classic comfort foods.
In this particular class, we'll make a super creamy butternut mac and cheese that's loaded with simple, accessible, seasonal ingredients. And, for those who don't yet love butternut squash, this may be the ticket!
In this class, we will...
- compare and explore various cooking methods for butternut squash
- get comfortable using knives, peelers, and more to make butternut squash prep a breeze
- discuss which cheeses and dairy work best for ooey gooey mac and cheese
- eat a delicious lunch!
So come join us as we have tons of fun, make delicious food, and learn lots of great things with our community.
