Herb Garden Workshop ~ Gardening Workshop

If you're a self-proclaimed "brown thumb," listen up. Your brown thumb is just a green thumb waiting to bloom. Every gardener started out somewhere, and most of us have had many epic fails along the way. And that's OK! It's all part of learning, and the journey is half the fun.  

If you want to develop your green thumb, growing herbs is one of the best ways to get started. And herbs are wonderful! From basil to parsley to chives and even gorgeous, edible flowers like nasturtium, growing an edible garden is within your reach.  And, speaking of reach, this gardening workshop is all about accessibility: regardless of age, level of mobility, skill level, or exprience, this is for everyone. Yes, even you. :)

Come and join us as we create our own herb gardens in this FREE community workshop. We'll learn about healthy soil, seeds, proper sowing techniques, transplanting, and how to nurture, use and preserve our home-grown herbs!  

This workshop will be Saturday, May 7th from 9-11:30am EST and located at the beautiful Jackson County Farmers Market.

All materials will be provided, but please bring an empty food-safe container for planting if you have one.
