About the Event
There's nothing like literally reaping what you sow. Enjoying and sharing food from your home garden is one of life's simplest pleasures and in this workshop we're going to do just that.
I'm so excited to collaborate with the Appalachian Women's Museum to provide this hands-on, outdoor garden-to-table workshop for our community!
The first half of the workshop will be harvesting the bounty of spring and making a super nutritious seasonal harvest salad.
In the second half of the workshop, we'll get our hands dirty and learn how to properly plant and sow our future summer bounties in the museum's amazing working garden. And to practice what we learned, all participants will be gifted a plant for their own gardens.
And we want to keep everyone safe, so we'll be taking COVID-19 precautions.
We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of gardening and culinary skills along the way! So…
