Veggie Fried Rice & Ginger Rice Pudding ~ Cooking Class
Time & Location
About the Event
This class is dedicated to lovely leftover rice.
Do you love fried rice? I know I do. I love it becuase it's got lots of veggies, has the perfect balance of flavor and texture, and I just adore the little pieces of egg so evenly distributed throughout. And the very best cooks know how to get the crispy bits of rice that pleasantly crunch when you bite into them. What could be better than that?
Friends, it took me a long time to make a fried rice I was truly proud of, and I'm so excited to share it with you! The version we're going to make is vegetarian, and you can use either white or brown long grain rice. And if you want to add an additional protein, just let me know ahead of time, and I'll be glad to help.
And, by the way, we'll be making a creamy, ginger rice pudding for dessert!
So come and join us! We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of culinary techniques along the way!
Class will be Thursday, March 18th at 5:30pm EST.
And, as always, this class makes use of some items from your perfect pantry ingredients!
Our recipes are all pantry-centered because we believe that having certain essential ingredients on hand is key to successful home cooking. We combine these pantry basics - whole grains, herbs, spices, and/or legumes - with a few fresh ingredients to create simple, affordable, nutritious, and delicious recipes that anyone can make.
