About the Event
When I start seeing strawberry flowers in my garden and wild blackberry blooms all over, I end up with berry recipes on my mind. And this is the first time I'm bringing these recipes to you!
Eating berries at their peak of freshness (whether strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or blackberries) only happens for a short while, and we definitely enjoy that while we can, but then the berries start going a little soft...
Fortunately, these two recipes are perfect for enjoying them even if they're a little less than photo-ready.
In this class, we're going to use all of our seasonal berries to make a gorgeous, vibrant berry vinaigrette and a glossy, fruity BBQ sauce that you'll want to bring out for all your summer cookouts!
So let's make some amazing condiments together. We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of culinary techniques along the way!
Together, we'll:
- make the most of our seasonal berries, even after they're a little past their prime
- use our immersion blenders (or standard blenders) to make a blended dressing
- compose a light and fresh salad to go with our berry vinaigrette
- create the yummiest, fruitiest BBQ sauce on the stovetop
So won't you join us? We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of awesome culinary tips and tricks along the way.
This class will be Thursday, June 8th from 5:00-6:30pm EST via Zoom. (PLEASE NOTE EARLIER CLASS TIME.)
So go ahead and RSVP! I'll send you the list of tools and ingredients you'll need a few days before our class.
And, as always, this class makes use of some items from your perfect pantry ingredients!
Our recipes are all pantry-centered because we believe that having certain essential ingredients on hand is key to successful home cooking. We combine these pantry basics - whole grains, herbs, spices, and/or legumes - with a few fresh ingredients to create simple, affordable, nutritious, and delicious recipes that anyone can make.
