Butternut Soup & Cranberry Sauce ~ Kiddo Cooking Class
Time & Location
About the Event
You asked, and we heard you! I'm thrilled to offer our first kiddo-centered cooking class, and we're going dive right in to fall foods! Together, with our little ones, we're going to make a roasted butternut soup and spiced cranberry sauce.
Your kids will delight in watching (and helping) as a winter squash transforms into a silky soup and those super tart cranberries become that sweet and tangy sauce we all know and love. Your little ones can measure, scoop, stir, and help just as much as you (and they) are comfortable with. I know my daughter's going to be making a delightful mess with us, and I can't wait. :)
I’m so exited to be partnering with Kim Slack, a Registered Dietitian and mom of two, whose mission is to support parents in their journey to help their children try new foods. Her focus is teaching how to create positive mealtimes that help children learn to like new foods without pressure and stress. I adore her and know you will, too!
Class is November 6th from 6pm-7:30 EST. Once you RSVP, I'll send you the list of ingredients and tools you'll need for our class plus the Zoom link.
The cost of our Zoom classes is whatever you're able to give. Uncomplicated Kitchen relies entirely on donations, and your contribution helps to ensure that classes like this can continue. If you're unable to give, that's ok, too. Please still join us.

And, as always, this recipe uses some items from your perfect pantry ingredients!
Our recipes are all pantry-centered because we believe that having certain essential ingredients on hand is key to successful home cooking.
