French toast is legitimately my favorite breakfast. It's creamy, custardy, slightly sweet, and, if you put ice cream on top, it becomes dessert! Oh and did I mention that it's one of those recipes where slightly stale bread actually makes it better? I know. I'm clapping, too.
I'd have French toast it at least once a week if I weren't falling over in hunger by the time it were ready. To make it right takes time. But, ah ha! French toast casserole is the answer, friends. This recipe is pretty much a bread pudding. All the creaminess and custardiness and melt-in-your-mouth texture without spending eons at the stove. I'll bet you're still clapping. :)
In this class, we'll learn to make this recipe (did I mention you can even make it dairy-free?) and my most favorite smashed breakfast potatoes. This is a good one. So get ready to have brekkie for dinner because you won't want to miss this.
