Hearty White Hatch Chili ~ Chicken or Veggie

White chili is pure magic. It's creamy, fragrant, and delicate. With green Hatch chilis and a bit of avocado, it's hearty and fresh at the same time. It's my favorite version of chili, and I can't wait to share it with you! Won't you join us? This class is vegetarian & GF adaptable.

About the Event
I remember the first time I had white chili. I was baffled and intrigued...and in love. How could it be chili without the tomato base that binds it all together? How was it so creamy, so flavorful, so fragrant and so addictive? And why is the red chili the one that gets all the attention? I had more questions than answers, but I was definitely going to uncover the magic. Of course, my curiosity got the best of me, and into the kitchen I went.
And as far as using Hatch chiles, they're my favorite green chile. They're perfectly balanced between amazing flavor and lovely spice. Years ago, a friend of mine brought me a can from his trip to New Mexico. I was hooked. (They're pretty widely available these days, but if you can't find them, mostly any green chile pepper will work, and canned is fine!)
In this class, you'll have the option to make a white Hatch chicken chili or a vegetarian version.
For my gluten-free friends, these recipes are easily adaptable.
Come and join me as we make your new favorite chili. We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of culinary techniques along the way!
Class will be Thursday, September 28th from 5:30-6:30pm EST.
