I LOVE pesto. The fresh flavor of fresh herbs combined with the richness of parmesan and nuts makes for the yummiest summer sauce that I anticipate each year. But you know, the two most most common complaints I hear about pesto is that it can be too oily and too pricey. Honestly, I agree with both of those things...but it doesn't have to be that way!
Uncomplicated Kitchen is here to show you a delicious, nutritious, and much more affordable alternative that will put pesto at the top of your seasonal favorites list.
In this class, we're going to use some pantry staples like nuts/seeds, pasta, and beans plus our homemade kale pesto to make a nutritious, delicious, and fabulous pasta dish that I'm sure you'll love.
In just 60 minutes, we'll:
make a delicious and affordable kale pesto
transform canned white beans into something that tastes like anything other than canned
