About the Event

When I say "ricotta cheese," what pops into your mind? Amazing savory dishes like lasagna, ravioli or stuffed shells? Yep, me too. Until lately...and cake was involved.

Ricotta cheese is a moist, soft, fresh, almost fluffy cheese that lends amazingness (and yumminess and protein) to whatever dish it touches. And that includes the sweeter side of things. Friends, I straight fell in love with ricotta cake. *Swoon* I can't explain how the texture and mouthfeel changes into perfection; I just promise you that it does.

And, in this recipe, we're swapping half the white flour for whole wheat! We're healthying this up a little, and perhaps this is the kind of cake you could potentially eat for breakfast.

In this class, we're going to use our muffin tins to make perfect little ricotta cakes. As far as the flavor options, it's just about endless: coffee, lemon pepper (talk about amazing!), chocolate chip, cinnamon, almond, blueberry, pistachio...it's up to you! After you RSVP, I'll send you a long list of options to make your your wildest ricotta cake dreams a reality.

Get ready to meet your new favorite baked good. You're gonna love this one.

Come on and join us! We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of culinary techniques along the way!

Class will be Thursday, February 25th at 5pm EST.

And, as always, this class makes use of some items from your perfect pantry ingredients!

Our recipes are all pantry-centered because we believe that having certain essential ingredients on hand is key to successful home cooking. We combine these pantry basics - whole grains, herbs, spices, and/or legumes - with a few fresh ingredients to create simple, affordable, nutritious, and delicious recipes that anyone can make.
