About the Event

Legend has it that centuries ago, a chef in China's Imperial Court accidentally invented potstickers after leaving a batch of dumplings on the stove for too long and causing them to burn.  If legend is true, I'm grateful to that chef! (In fact, happy accidents have created some of my favorite yummy things: Nashville hot chicken, Dippin Dots, chocolate chip cookies, and more!)

In this class, however, it'll be no accident that we create a batch of gorgeous, affordable, vegetarian potstickers. Loads of fresh, seasonal veggies, aromatics, and tofu will come together to make something you'll make time and time again.

By the way, if you're craving pork or chicken potstickers, let me know, and I'll work with you.

So let's make some amazing food together. We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of culinary techniques along the way!

Together, we'll:

  • prepare a multi-purpose, versatile filling
  • learn to use store-bought wonton wrappers for simple weeknight dishes
  • chat about how to use the filling in many ways other than potstickers
  • mix up a fabulous dipping sauce

So won't you join us?  We'll have tons of fun and learn lots of awesome culinary tips and tricks along the way.

This class will be Thursday, July 13th from 5:30-6:30pm EST via Zoom. (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO CLASS TIME.)

So go ahead and RSVP! I'll send you the list of tools and ingredients you'll need a few days before our class.

And, as always, this class makes use of some items from your perfect pantry ingredients!

Our recipes are all pantry-centered because we believe that having certain essential ingredients on hand is key to successful home cooking. We combine these pantry basics - whole grains, herbs, spices, and/or legumes - with a few fresh ingredients to create simple, affordable, nutritious, and delicious recipes that anyone can make.
